• Laminated wood flooring is an engineered surface that uses a dense core, a printed wood‑look décor film, and a clear wear layer to mimic real timber with added durability. It is supplied as click‑lock planks that float over underlay, simplifying installation and allowing for easier board replacement if damaged. The tough top layer offers strong resistance to everyday scratches, stains, and wear in busy living areas. Advanced printing and embossing reproduce natural grain, knots, and texture in a wide choice of colours and plank formats. Day‑to‑day care is simple, typically requiring sweeping or vacuuming and occasional damp mopping with an appropriate cleaner. Unlike solid wood, it cannot be sanded and refinished, and standing moisture should be avoided to protect the core and joints.
